Extraordinary public, on June 2, for the opening of new rooms at Palazzo Marino, now visit the public. The municipality becomes, in effect, a real museum.
Part of the formula of visits “smart”, to find out in 45 minutes, for free and without reservation, the treasures of art and culture preserved sixteenth-century building on the list of declared national monuments. The tours will take place five times a day, every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, at the following times: 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, 14, 15. In addition to a companion, citizens and tourists will have an audio guide in 10 languages: English , French, German, Spanish, Russian, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese, Japanese, Modern Standard Arabic, and of course Italian.
To enrich the path will be four new splendid rooms on the ground floor “so far remained hidden” to the public: the Hall of Tampere with paintings of the seventeenth century, the Hall of Tapestries with works that illustrate the life of the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius, the Hall of the Trinity with frescoes attributed to Giovanni Mauro della Rovere said Fiammenghino, the Hall of Judgment with frescoes by Giovanni da Lomazzo. These spaces prestigious and unpublished will be added to the itinerary of tour that includes, at the ground floor, the Sala Alessi, the Hall of the City Council with its hall – where throughout the period of the Expo is the exhibition “Identity Milan” coming from the Triennale – The Hall of Town, the Yellow Room, the Green Room-Marra, a court of honor.
